Screw that. Missile silos are -so- passe. I'm going for the classic.

Despair is being sick. Again. I'm officially disowning my sister on the grounds of being a dirty, germ-carrying college student who manages to infect me every goddamn time I see her.

Oh.

My.

God.

I'm emailing them now to find out if there's a compny in Aus that does anything like that. I'm going to have to start saving. Or buying powerball tickets.

I'd do anything to have a castle.

Despair is knowing I'll probably never be able to afford it.

Anyone you can describe as chipper is to be avoided. You never know when they'll crack. Eventually, they're gonna start gnawing on the nearest thing they can, whether it's a hood ornament or wristwatch, wrist still attached; a moment when that uniform they've made for themselves breaks down and they fall to pieces, right out of it. Give me the life-haters any day. They'll play you straight. -Oobie

But you see the advantage of the bunker I'd chosen was that it was in Cumbria, England, exactly where I'm wanting to live. Plus it would have actually been affordable if I'd sold my house, until the price got raised too high. (182k in the end). Apparently it was the large area of land in which it is situated which raised the price so high, but I could have sold some of that off and kept the area with the bunker.

With the full NBC kit I kept from my days in the Army I would have been safe from both nuclear and zombie holocausts. Now I'm going to have to slog it out with the rest of you rats.

QUOTED  With the full NBC kit I kept from my days in the Army I would have been safe from both nuclear and zombie holocausts. Now I'm going to have to slog it out with the rest of you rats.

A castle is every bit as defensible as the bunker in the case of a zombie uprising - and significantly more comfortable, to say nothing of the style points. See World War Z for further details on castles during a zombie uprising.

QUOTED  I'm emailing them now to find out if there's a compny in Aus that does anything like that. I'm going to have to start saving. Or buying powerball tickets.

Despair is knowing I'll probably never be able to afford it.

We should start an RPGC-ite fund to buy a castle. Useful for parties, gatherings, vacations, and any number of apocalyptic scenarios!

QUOTED  Despair is a programme I'm watching- 'Genesis vs Darwin'.

There was a poll done in America, where the question 'what causes biodiversty?' was asked.
22% said evolution, and 73% believed the idea of creationism was responsible.

What the hell is wrong with people?

Sounds suspiciously like a biased poll to me - they have a tendency to skew these things for the sake of proving a point. I'd be curious to know exactly how they phrased the question.

Despair is being hunted down by relatives who you've been successfully avoiding for years on Facebook.
