I'm officially disowning my sister on the grounds of being a dirty, germ-carrying college student who manages to infect me every goddamn time I see her. I'm going to have to start saving. Or buying powerball tickets. I'd do anything to have a castle. Despair is knowing I'll probably never be able to afford it. Anyone you can describe as chipper is to be avoided. You never know when they'll crack. Eventually, they're gonna start gnawing on the nearest thing they can, whether it's a hood ornament or wristwatch, wrist still attached; a moment when that uniform they've made for themselves breaks down and they fall to pieces, right out of it. Give me the life-haters any day. They'll play you straight. -Oobie |

Plus it would have actually been affordable if I'd sold my house, until the price got raised too high. (182k in the end). Apparently it was the large area of land in which it is situated which raised the price so high, but I could have sold some of that off and kept the area with the bunker. With the full NBC kit I kept from my days in the Army I would have been safe from both nuclear and zombie holocausts. Now I'm going to have to slog it out with the rest of you rats. ![]() I know you said you wouldn't tolerate excuses... but I have a really good one! |

Member Since: July 2003 RK: 13 MP: 6,289 | Friday March 28, 2008 10:16 AM A castle is every bit as defensible as the bunker in the case of a zombie uprising - and significantly more comfortable, to say nothing of the style points. See World War Z for further details on castles during a zombie uprising. ![]() We should start an RPGC-ite fund to buy a castle. Useful for parties, gatherings, vacations, and any number of apocalyptic scenarios! Sounds suspiciously like a biased poll to me - they have a tendency to skew these things for the sake of proving a point. I'd be curious to know exactly how they phrased the question. Despair is being hunted down by relatives who you've been successfully avoiding for years on Facebook. ![]() [[Edited by Avenging_Angel on Friday March 28, 2008 10:17 AM]] Everywhere I go I repeat: I do not belong here.
