Despair is being broke, due to my liberation. Despair is running out of cigarettes, not getting enough sleep and not being able to find my last copy of my CV, which has my RSA and RCG certificates enclosed...
Despair is knowing my grandmother is having surgery tomorrow and the hospital wont let me go with her
Anyone you can describe as chipper is to be avoided. You never know when they'll crack. Eventually, they're gonna start gnawing on the nearest thing they can, whether it's a hood ornament or wristwatch, wrist still attached; a moment when that uniform they've made for themselves breaks down and they fall to pieces, right out of it. Give me the life-haters any day. They'll play you straight. -Oobie

Despair is winning a 50 million dollar jackpot, blowing it all on pussy and beer, waking up the next day, in a tub full of ice to find out not only that you are inexplicably missing a kidney, a lung, the larger part of your gall bladder, a good chunk of your small intestine and your left testicle, but also that your now estranged wife has brutally castrated you with a rusty cheese grater only to later discover that, upon further medical examination, the thirty four hookers you hired last night cooked you up an STD cocktail sampler of the Clap, The Syph, Gons, AIDS and an unnaturally persistent case of genital warts at which point you spontaneously ignite in a nova-like burst of flame AND survive, being completely engulfed in a degree of burn previously unrecorded in modern medicine. After which you are brutally cursed with the knowledge that all of your agony is going to last for a total of the most excruciating 21 seconds of the rest of your life, each and every one lasting an eternity unto itself all the while knowing that after 18 seconds, you now have 17 left to live, the cure for everything that has just happened to you is going to be developed.
THAT... is despair.
Now that you're all thankful this isn't you, have a wonderful day, I certainly will.

Gods of war I call You. My sword is by my side.
I seek a life of honor, free from all false pride.
I will crack the whip with a bold mighty hail.
Cover me with death if I should ever fail.
Glory, Majesty, Unity
Hail, Hail, Hail!
Unus Salus Victus

Despair is leaving your wallet at home.
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it

He's right. It did make me feel better about my day.
Until I realize that I have to wake up tomorrow to what will more than likely be another chip added to the stack of days working, complete with minor annoyances, bullshit, and the like.

Despair is a programme I'm watching- 'Genesis vs Darwin'.
There was a poll done in America, where the question 'what causes biodiversty?' was asked.
22% said evolution, and 73% believed the idea of creationism was responsible.
What the hell is wrong with people?

Despair is crippling back pain (took me a half hour to get up this morning), with none of the pain killers in the house helping- and having four lots of copies to fully correct and back date because we have a maths inspector coming.
So stupid. Like I have time to date copies during class. They're always checked but I'm expected to have them signed, dated and with personalised comments. If I did that every class it would take up 24 of the 40 minutes in the period. Stupid.

You must not have been paying attention during the 2000 elections, if you give any credit to an American poll.

P.S.
I'm surprised Damien didn't jump in on Flark and Oobie's little sword fight...
