Happiness is my 6 month old daughter is testing out words. Her first word was ma-ma, much to my husband's annoyance and my pleasure. The other day I was sitting in the living room, and she was laying in her playpen. She kept saying, "Ma-ma-ma-ma." Finally, I asked, "What do you want?" She replied, "Mama." It was so adorable! I just wish my husband had seen that. Yup, my daughter's going to be a mama's girl! >.<

Aw, that's cute.
reminds me of one of my mother's favorite stories about me.
Apparantly, I was about 6, sitting on the floor and fiddling with some toys saying 'Na na na na na' over and over again.
Mom thought this was the perfect opportunity to get some love and tried coaxing me to say 'Mama'.
With a huge smile I turned and said "dada!", to my father's delight.
I feel happy...I feel happy!

My youngest's first word was Dad, then Mama, then Shit! I was so proud.

Of course you would be Sisq, haha! I wonder where where your youngest learned that last word? Hmm... I don't have a clue. >.< I certainly hope Lorelei doesn't but I'm sure she'll pick up a swear word sooner or later, especially if her father can't stop using them... Oh well, I guess if she gets in trouble her first year at school for swearing, he can go in to explain where she learned it from.

Dammit SL...Giving a good set-up like that and not letting anyone us it...
Of course, Sisq and Anbu both missed their chance...I suppose they will need to be re-educated...

Happiness is thrift stores, oh my yes. Not only is there a far better selection for the kinds of things I wear, but generally far cheaper than any hot new item in the mall.

You're right, I did notice it haha! But I knew what SL meant and so didn't comment. Now I wish I had.

Happiness is discovering that with the amount of money I'm saving by not living on campus, I can cut out two of the student loans I normally take out - which means less money to pay back later. Woo!
