Penne bolognese. Thrillingly exciting. I am a disturbingly average cook.

Anyone you can describe as chipper is to be avoided. You never know when they'll crack. Eventually, they're gonna start gnawing on the nearest thing they can, whether it's a hood ornament or wristwatch, wrist still attached; a moment when that uniform they've made for themselves breaks down and they fall to pieces, right out of it. Give me the life-haters any day. They'll play you straight. -Oobie

Jegergryte, or 'hunter's pot'. Basically moose in a cream sauce with mushrooms, onions, carrots, served on rice.
We have a large chunk of moose that should have been eaten a long time ago, so doing it as a steak is out of the question.

I've discovered the only way to get myself enthused about bag lunches at work is to give them some sort of theme.

Today is fantasy adventurer. So, smoked cheese, homemade wheat bread, apples, and a sammich. Oh, the excitement.

I wish, however, I was eating this.

Tagliatelle bolognese. Trying some minor variations to the basic sauce we usually make. Quite good.
